Indian Island Duluwat Sunset Poster


Gary Todoroff is a local photographer who captures the beauty of Humboldt County from the air. This poster features Indian Island during a beautiful sunset.

Text under title: The setting sun reflects off Humboldt Bay and the high tide channels of the island, historically the site of Tuluwat Village, considered the center of the Wiyot world.

Text bottom right: Flying over Highway 255 between Eureka, California and the Samoa Pennisula , the island originally called Duluwat was captured by a Hasselblad ELM with 80mm Zeiss f/2.8 lens on Kodak Ektachrome 200 film, taking in the light and reflections from about 1000 feet over Humboldt Bay in a Cessna 182.
